A house built of tufa stone on the banks of the Loire. In the kitchen: Romain Butet, a chef with an impressive CV, who cooks up fairly traditional cuisine with a few modern touches and some slightly exotic flights of fancy: delicious Anjou pigeon with a reduced jus and vegetables; dark chocolate with Piedmont hazelnuts. Pleasant contemporary interior, good choice of wines at reasonable prices.
