The Transpantaneira is an incredible natural trail, departing from Poconé, all the way to Porto Jofre, forging a path for 150km/93mi into the marshlands of the fabulous Pantanal natural park. All along this trail, which crosses over 100 little wooden bridges, fazendas welcome travellers and acquaint them with the wildlife and plants of this ecological sanctuary by foot, horse or boat. Most of the excursions in Northern Pantanal revolve around this unique trail.
