Descrizione
This museum provides an interactive introduction into the history of Memphis music from the 1920s to the 1970s. In addition to a substantial collection of authentic sound tracks, the museum also endeavors to situate the three main musical revolutions in their economic and social context: blues in the 1920s, rock'n roll in the 1950s and soul music in the 1960s. An essential component of any visit to Memphis to get better acquainted with the different styles of the Memphis Sound and the some of its greatest artists.
