In the peaceful northern Isère countryside, a family has revived the farming estate of its forebears and turned it into a hotel resort. In a picturesque, revamped stone barn, guests are invited to sample dishes overflowing in flavour rustled up by Argentinian chef Agustín Mercado Murua and inspired by the seasons and the region (Dombes duckling, farm-reared veal and locally bred trout), as well as herbs and veggies from the kitchen garden. Lovely alfresco patio in fine weather.
