The spruce herrnschlösschen hotel, located in the old town, is home to a delightful little restaurant whose stylish modern interior design seamlessly incorporates the building's historical architectural features – the huge wooden beam dates back to 1526! There is a set menu bearing the name "INNOVATIVE KLASSIK By Sascha Bungeroth", which comprises five courses and includes a few added extras. Following stints at several top-flight establishments, here the chef takes his cue from the seasons, with dishes such as pickled Canadian scallops with sesame, horseradish and tonburi, or Franconian veal fillet tartare, burrata, olives and pine nuts.
