La Table des Bauges is the brainchild of chef Clément Girod (formerly with Emmanuel Renaut), who has returned to his birthplace. The result is impeccable: local ingredients, homemade bread and ices, organic wine list and, the highlight, meticulous market fresh cuisine, illustrated by steamed hake, tomatoes, courgettes, caviar of aubergine, marigolds and smoked chili butter.
