In this picturesque Lot village, the traveller cannot fail but notice the handsome limestone edifice with a slate roof, flanked by a terrace and Belle Époque conservatory. The globe-trotting chef demonstrates a weakness for exotic combinations: velvety, humus-like aubergines, burnt rye bread, fried Camus artichoke and pork fillet dried in the hearthplace; lightly seared secreto pata negro pork with peanuts and ginger, roast fennel and whole wheat noodles.
