Descrizione
The Chequers is a 14th-century coaching inn located in the picturesque Kent village of Smarden. Bedrooms feature exposed wooden beams and the candlelit restaurant serves fine British cuisine.
Sunday price includes Lunch, bed and breakfast. Sides and drinks are not included in the price.
The spacious rooms at The Chequers Inn include flat-screen TVs and free Wi-Fi. Rooms also have writing desks and deep armchairs.
The cosy bar has a real fireplace and a menu that changes with the seasons. Roast dinners are served on Sundays, and there is an outside eating area, which leads to the large garden and duck pond.
Countryside walking routes surround the inn. The Weald of Kent Golf Course is a 10-minute drive from the Chequers.
