This museum allows visitors to imagine how the "Emperor's house" might once have looked, through exhibits such as the Egyptian Cabinet, the Habsburgs' Hall and the Laxenburg Hall with its splendid, German-origin Renaissance furnishings. The pieces on display hint at the Habsburgs' love of foreign and exotic cultures.
