The spacious and well-designed National Zoological Gardens or Pretoria Zoo (one of the largest in the country) are home to over 8,000 animals, among which countless mammals, birds, and a wide variety of fish and reptiles from all over the world. The educational tours vary in length. A cable car and golf cars make it easy to get around the zoo's various sites.
