This Brahman temple dates back to the reign of Suryavarman II (early 12C), the founder of Angkor Wat. A number of details remind you of the gem of Angkor: the shape of the sandstone towers and of the lateral library, the devata (female deities) encircling the feet of the central prang, and the striking historiated pediments.
