The Villa Les Tilleuls (1907) houses the collection bequeathed by Perpignan man Joseph Puig. On view are 2 500 coins, out of the 45 000 in the entire collection. Most of these are Catalan and were pressed in Valence, Barcelona, Perpignan or Majorca. The Fresnel lenses enable visitors to get a closer look at money from Roussillon or Rome, Greece or Egypt.
