This street leads to the former abbot's palace (at n° 5), an imposing Renaissance construction built in 1586 by the Cardinal-Abbot Charles de Bourbon - note the twin-casement windows with alternate round and triangular pediments. The building was remodelled in 1699 by Cardinal de Fürstenberg then sold as a State property in 1797.
