Franz Stuck (1863-1928) was one of the founders of the Munich Secessionist movement, one of the forerunners of Art Nouveau. He was also a teacher at the Academy of Fine Arts in Munich and designed and then built this Art Nouveau villa. The impressive interior was decorated by the artist himself; the splendid garden features a pergola and antique statues.
