To the west of the Praça do Comércio, the harbour area of Cais do Sodré is lined with restaurants and bars with huge terraces overlooking the Tagus. The train station has a lovely Art Deco entrance. Opposite, the old Ribeira market has been dedicated to Portuguese gastronomy since 2014.
