This large lodge (1914-1920) was built according to plans by Berlage and is considered to be one of his masterpieces. The building, with its 31m tower, and its two lakes and surrounding gardens all have geometric shapes. On the interior, every shape, colour and detail has symbolic significance relating to the legend of St Hubert, the patron saint of hunters.
