La carrera del Darro ends on this paseo, from which there is a marvellous view over the towers and walls of the Alhambra, emerging from the green hillside. At night, the illuminated view of the Alhambra is fantastic and in the evening, at sunset, the view is just as superb. In short, no need for any sadness, contrary to what the street name may seem to suggest; this is the ideal place to grab a table on one of the little terraces, have a glass of wine and let the incredible charm of the place wash over you.
