Set in lovely gardens, neo-Classical Emo Court was built by James Gandon in 1792 for John Dawson, a banker. The rotunda entrance with marble columns is particularly noteworthy, as is the stuccowork on the dining room ceiling and the library, which boasts a Carrara marble fireplace.
