Balnakeil Craft Village is set in a rather desolate landscape amidst former antinuclear bunkers built in the 1950s in the heart of the Cold War but never used. They are now home to a community of artists and craftsmen and women whose workshops have become something of a tourist attraction. While you may of course find something that takes your fancy, it must be said that the history of the site is its main claim to fame.
