The family home of the Stockalper family (early 16C), this castle can be seen from afar by its three towers topped with gleaming onion domes, set by the road to Simplon. The gigantic main wing sports no less than eight floors, including the cellar. The main courtyard, lined with restored galleries, is the highlight of this edifice which was inspired by the Tuscan Renaissance.
