The 13C St Martin's Tower (Martinsturm) acquired its current appearance, with its sturdy onion dome, in the early 17C. The dormer windows of the attic, where temporary history-focused collections are housed, offer pretty glimpses of the rooftops of the Old Town, the lake with Lindau's church towers and the Appenzell Alps in the distance.
