The ruins of this castle stand 150m above the river Sure. The 11C keep and Gothic fireplace of the upper castle remain intact. The 14C lower castle was remodelled many times and includes Stolzembourg house and its museum of archaeology (pottery and architectural fragments found within the castle). From the perimeter towers, you have beautiful views over the surrounding valley and plateau.
