It was built in the 19C in the Gothic style by Paul Abadie, architect of the Sacré-Cœur in Paris and of the restoration work carried out at St Front Cathedral in Périgueux. It is crowned by a very slender bell tower and its chapel is adorned with two fine paintings: an Adoration of the Magi attributed to Pordenone, a Venetian painter and pupil of Giorgione, and above all, an Adoration of the Shepherds attributed to Ferrari, a Milanese pupil of Leonardo de Vinci. A huge Aubusson tapestry of the coat of arms of Bergerac hangs in the north transept.
