This military museum glorifies the People's Liberation Army, charting its exploits during the Cold War and Korean War. Its collections encompass a plethora of weapons, enemy warplanes that were shot down, tanks etc. Propaganda in all its splendour is shown here, watched over by a monumental statue of Chairman Mao. Heading further back in time, the Long March and the Revolution are also covered, illustrated by allegorical statues in the pure style of Soviet Realism. A museum for real history enthusiasts.
