Located between Angastaco and Cafayate, along the Río Calchaquí, which it overlooks in places, the Quebrada de las Flechas is named after the tall rocks pointing towards the sky like arrows. Its geological layers boast an array of different colours, from white to beige, and red to dark grey, the formations of which are enriched by the variations in light here. Every little canyon is perfect for endless hikes amid a harsh yet magnificent landscape that is cloaked in vivid colours.
