In the middle of a dry landscape dotted with agave and cactus stands a white lighthouse that is extremely photogenic; it is reached by a path that winds its way through the terraced farmland. Below, you can see the ruins of the former whaling station (Fábrica da Baleia do Castelo). A superb view!
