This remarkable restaurant in Hotel Bayerischer Hof is reminiscent of an artist's studio – chic grey dominates the colour scheme, and everything is tastefully done, down to the last detail. This understated luxury provides the backdrop, courtesy of Axel Vervoordt's interior design. The young, experienced waitstaff are exceptionally personable, attentive and eager to please. There has been a change in kitchen leadership, with Kevin Romes (known from Skin's – the restaurant, in Lenzburg) now at the helm. His dishes are based on outstanding ingredients and executed with remarkable precision, revealing his penchant for acidity and heat, both of which he incorporates with great skill. A six- or seven-course set menu is available, with the option of adding two standout dishes. The wine list comprises some 300 labels.
