If it’s a more intimate feel you’re after, however, head down the spiral staircase to the cellar, where you’ll be greeted by exposed brickwork and moody lighting. The menus certainly offers something a little different for Helsinki, with French bistro classics given a Japanese makeover; you might find pike quenelles with togarashi spiced lobster cream or yuzu parfait with Japanese rose syrup and caramelised buckwheat.
