Chef Joe and Katy Kindred have struck gold again, this time with Albertine, named for Queen Charlotte's mother. It's equally well suited to solo diners sitting at the bar as it is to those who want to get dressed up and enjoy a romantic date night. You'll feel taken care of here, where Mediterranean and Southern flavors meld on an appealing menu with the likes of whipped feta, stuffed dates, lamb kefta, house-made rock crab mafaldine and hanger steak frites with a smoky bone marrow bordelaise. Chicken thighs marinated in labneh and dusted with green coriander are set over a cucumber salad with creamy hummus for a satisfying dish. Be sure to save room for the knafeh cheesecake
