Good restaurants are hard to find around Mont-Saint-Michel, having fallen victim to the tourist frenzy that surrounds the fourth most visited monument in France. So it is all the more of a pleasure to come across this restaurant, where at every service they roll out the red carpet for a limited number of guests. A chef who knows his stuff delivers unpretentious cuisine: potato gnocchi, watercress and soft-boiled egg; line-caught pollack from the nearby coast, courgette medallions.
