The menu kicks things up a notch, layering bright and bold flavors throughout their items. Small plate starters might reveal tender white asparagus laced with pea shoot “pesto,” aioli and deliciously salty Serrano; or tender little ham croquetas, served with sharp mojo verde and folded with creamy béchamel. Seafood and meat options also abound, all well executed, but some notable vegetable preparations steal the show. For instance, pan-fried mushrooms on toast are punched up with manchego; while olive oil- and sherry-braised artichokes are coupled with a pine nut sauce.
