It is a wonder that this easygoing oyster bar is Petaluma’s first. The breezy vibe is amplified through oversized windows that let in plenty of natural light.
Everything here seems to be focused on raw delicacies, from minerally Hog Island oysters to meatier Hammersley ones from the Puget Sound. All of these are shucked right at the bar before arriving at your table, so the action and entertainment are constant. Raw items may be the focus, but a handful of fried or baked classics are not to be missed, like oysters Rockefeller laden with parmesan, Pernod, spinach and cured ham. Round out your feast with something more substantial, like puffy golden hushpuppies filled with shrimp morsels in a light corn batter. Fish tacos are yet another big hit.- Gli ispettori della guida MICHELIN
